The new LED lamps are ideal lighting solutions for reducing energy, maintenance and HVAC costs associated with healthcare facilities' recessed downlight and track lighting applications. Using 13 watts, the highly effi cient LED BR30 lamp replaces a 65-watt incandescent lamp, while delivering 750 lumens maintained throughout the life of the lamp. The new BR40 uses 17 watts and replaces a 90-watt incandescent lamp, while delivering 1000 lumens. Compared to LED PAR lamps, both models offer a much wider beam spread and less cave effect in downlight applications. Both lamps feature a BR lens that conceals LEDs from view and evenly distributes the light in a 120-degree flood beam spread for accent lighting, wall washing and general lighting.
