Doug Wignall named president

Engineering design and consulting fi rm Maz- zetti Nash Lipsey Burch added John Wiseman, P.E., LEED BD+C as senior associate in the fi rm's Nashville, Tenn. offi ce. Wiseman has more than 20 years of experience in project management, electrical engineering, quality control and facility design on many types of projects, including healthcare.
SmithGroupJJR has promoted Sam D'Amico, AIA, LEED AP BD+C to principal. D'Amico, based out of the fi rm's San Francisco offi ce, leverages more than 20 years of healthcare design experi- ence. He joined SmithGroupJJR in 2011 from Ashen + Allen, where he served as senior project designer for signifi cant healthcare projects.
WHR Architects has promoted Joel Colwell, AIA, to principal. Colwell joined the fi rm in 2004, having spent the previous 10 years on the client side as a facilities/project manager for a hospital in Louisiana. With more than 30 years of experience, Colwell has managed large-scale, complex projects for major health- care systems as well as challenging smaller renovations and additions.
Shepley Bulfi nch welcomed healthcare planning and design leader Mario Vieira, AIA, who has joined the fi rm as a principal. He has 25 years of experience as a healthcare architect. Vieira is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects and the New England Society for Healthcare Strategy. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts.
Dustin O'Brien, AIA has been appointed a shareholder and principal of Wilson Archi- tectural Group. He has managed numerous leading projects for prominent healthcare and higher education clients in the Houston, Texas area. In his new role as principal, O'Brien will provide management insight to continue to expand Wilson Architectural Group's ability to serve existing and new clients.
National architecture fi rm Shepley Bulfi nch has announced the opening of a new offi ce in San Francisco, which will be led by healthcare design leader Peter Schlosser, AIA, who has joined the fi rm as principal. This expansion establishes a physical presence that builds on a portfolio of clients on the West Coast. This is the third offi ce for Shepley Bulfi nch, which es- tablished a presence in the Southwest in 2009 when it acquired Merzproject of Phoenix.
Kimberly Gabrysch, business development director at Healthcare Art Consulting, recently earned EDAC certifi cation. The Center for Health Design has been working to improve the quality and safety of medical facilities for the past 20 years focusing on the use of Evidence-Based Design to improve outcomes for patients and staff and impact the bottom line.
EwingCole expanded the leadership team in its Washington, D.C. offi ce. As Managing Prin- cipal of the Washington offi ce, Patrick Brun- ner, RA is responsible for project management and the offi ce's administrative functions. Brun- ner has more than 30 years of experience in the design and coordination of both new and renovation projects. Serving as the Director of Business Development is Andrea Zeitman Ad- amson. She will lead the fi rm's growth efforts in the academic, healthcare and workplace markets.
KLMK Group, Inc. announces the addition of a new team member. Ellyn Roberts joins KLMK as a principal consultant in the Facilities Activation Services business unit. She brings 17 years of experience in a wide range of executive roles including strategic planning; operations management; project, transition and activation management; staff develop- ment and team leadership. Prior to joining KLMK, Roberts served as the clinical project manager for Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va.
