14 Medical Construction & Design | M AY/ J U N E 2017 | MCDM AG.COM Category winners announced for ASHE 2017 Vista Awards The Vista Awards, presented by the American Society for Healthcare Engi- neering, recently announced CSF Medical Center at Mission Bay in San Francisco, Califor- nia; Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Tower in Gulfport, Mississippi and St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York as winners of the annual competition. The projects won in the categories of best new construction, renovation and infrastructure, respectively. The awards recognize the signifi cance of collaboration in creating optimal healthcare environments. The teams recognized made it a priority to minimize the disruption of patients during construc- tion and, when the construc- tion fi nished, the patient experience was measurably enhanced by these projects.
