The growth of outpatient facilities over the years is a result of many factors, including
population necessity, healthcare laws and ever-evolving models of care. And the numbers
speak volumes — as evidenced by construction starts. The most recently released Revista
2017 Mid-Year Construction Report is a prime example. Among top report takeaways:
roughly 20.9 million square feet of outpatient MOB space was completed in 2017, which was
up from 19 million square feet completed in 2016. This trend is here to stay and provides us
