Sole, an LED-illuminated mir- ror, is the fi rst solution to emerge from those conversations, and is among Visa Lighting's growing col- lection of high-abuse luminaires. Two models are available in the Sole family: the oval mirror, which is 24 inches wide and 34 inches high, and the rectangular mirror, which is 20 inches wide and 30 inches high. Both have a recessed depth of 3 inches and are available in 16 stan- dard fi nishes. The lighted portions of the mirror are curved along the side edges of the oval model and vertically aligned parallel to the frame in the rectangular model. They also include an optional amber nightlight for extra comfort, eliminating the need for an additional light source. ID#103 New LED Lights the Night in Patient Rooms The simple aesthetics of NiteWay LEDs, from Hubbell Healthcare Solutions, allow it to blend into any room décor, while reducing its projection from the wall to just over three quarters of an inch. There are no visible fasteners to distract from its clean appearance and surface transitions have a gentle radius to simplify routine cleaning. The LEDs provide low-level illumination at the fl oor plane, while minimizing glare that might impact the vision of the patient. The optical design not only reduces lens brightness, but also eliminates fl ashes of light at lens transitions. An optional integrated photocontrol is available to ensure night lighting is available when needed. It is available in either a vertical or horizontal orientation with amber or white LED source color. Finish options include white, aluminum or black — all with an antimicrobial paint. The two new LED lumi- naires offer superior performance, energy effi ciency and are compatible with Eaton's lighting controls solutions. The RTC series is a classic center-basket LED luminaire with a durable design, premium effi cacy and integrated control features. RTC's 2.5-inch height makes it ideal for shallow and restricted plenum applications. RTC includes fi ve stock lumen packages in color temperatures of 3,500 K and 4,000 K, along with numerous control options and factory-installed sensors. Its fully integrated sensors include Eaton's WaveLinx wireless control system, as well as LumaWatt Pro, enabling Internet of Things connectiv- ity for use in multiple applications including hospitals. ID#100 Flexible Commerical Solution for Color Tuning and Control MaxLite recently launched the IntelliMax networked lighting con- trol system to the commercial industry. While not dedicated to the healthcare market specifi cally, the system is fl exible and can be adapted to nearly any application, including hospitals, doctors' offi ces, private care facilities and others. It is capable of handling color tuning system functionality, allowing for the adjustment of light colors to mimic human circadian rhythms. It can also automati- cally adjust lighting levels and facility scene control for examina- tion rooms, surgical areas, patient rooms, etc. IntelliMax works seamlessly with MaxLite LED luminaires to deliver scalable energy cost savings for facilities of all sizes.
