AECOM Appoints Anat Zeidman as Texas Healthcare Deputy Director Anat Zeidman has joined AE- COM as the healthcare deputy director for Texas. Zeidman will help spearhead the company's business de- velopment and program management for all health- care-related activities in the region. Prior to joining AECOM, Zeidman cumulatively managed and oversaw over $1 billion in capital renovation and expan- sion projects. Her projects have included ground-up construc- tion, central plants, parking infrastructure, research facilities, inpatient and outpatient medical facilities and commercial and corporate facilities. Perkins+Will Hires New Healthcare Practice Leader for Boston Studio Perkins+Will's Boston, Mas- sachusetts studio has hired Ron Gorham as principal and practice leader for the sector. Gorham's 25-year career in healthcare planning, de- sign and man- agement will help broaden the fi rm's pres- ence, and ex- pand the fi rm's regional expertise nationwide. Gorham will join healthcare principal Chuck Siconolfi at the studio, where clients include Maine Medical Center, Spauld- ing Rehabilitation Hospital (Boston, Massachusetts) and Nemours Children's Hospital (Orlando, Florida) . People movers & shakers IN BRIEF Bryan Cannon , AIA, has joined HGA Architects and Engineers' Washington, D.C. offi ce as a design principal. He brings to his position a portfolio of high-impact spaces for scientifi c research, STEM education and cancer treatment. Renée Burnham has joined Gresham, Smith and Partners' Healthcare practice as a senior data and research specialist in the Nashville, Tennessee offi ce. She is an industry veteran with 22 years of experience. Sharmila Badkar has rejoined Stantec as a project manager in its San Francisco, California offi ce. With more than 15 years of experience, Badkar supports the healthcare architecture market in Northern California. Ionel Petrus , P.E., CEM, LEED AP BD+C, has been promoted to principal at SmithGroupJJR's Washington, D.C. offi ce. He is a mechanical engineer whose expertise lies in the design of complex HVAC systems for hospital operating rooms. HDR has tapped Kevin Lynch , LEED AP, AAHID, NCIDQ, to serve as an interior design practice leader, based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
